I cracked one of my three USKOC's PCBs in half during play.

Occasionally the pcb of remaing 2 would seize and start locking up on me in terms of key strokes until I remove the con and plug it back in.

Key travel is too great.

Unmoddable for the most part so any change in travel is not gonna happen.

Loud as shit.

Voltage issues with PS2->USB/Serial converters.

Buttons are shit.

TT is shit.

Con base is too light and slides everywhere.

I can go on.

Damn m3357, how the hell hard were you clickin dem keys nigga? Serioiusly, I play pretty heavy handedly and all I've done is snapped the freaking legs of the keys. I've only had a couple instances of keys sticking on me, but that was easily fixed by mixing the keys up a bit and cleaning out the controller. No sticking, no anything and though I'm nowhere near as good as you, I can still AAA a bunch of songs. Overall, it's not that bad, and I've played on every controller except the Desktop Arcade one. Maybe I should just upgrade to a Dao though. I have a feeling that after three years this first BMUS con is gonna crap out.

Hmm, I've stood on my USKOC keys and pushed them in as hard as I can, no damage done at all...

But yeah, JKOC feel and sound a lot nicer, but my keys started within a few days of purchase (brand new, modded before I used it)

I get pissed off at songs where you get a bad and then have to literally stop playing for half a second and miss about 5 notes in a row in order to get your timing back, otherwise you just get a string of bad/poors.

Bleeding Luv is notorious for that.

Actually, I modded mine with some cardboard so the distance was less. It also made it quieter. You just have to be creative with your cardboard-ing.

But after getting a Dao, I completely agree, the TT and keys are shit. Great for new players, but when you get into the 11s/12s, the controller is just too different from the arcade.

Dunno if it is the right thread to ask this (since this is more of a BM IIDX controller discussion thread) but I guess it doesn't hurt to ask:

How do you get the special extra stage for 9th style, 10th style and IIDX RED (PS2)?

Namely: PSM, 1st Samurai and Genocide. Yeah I know these are already available in FREE MODE (PS2 versions) but I need to get the gallery pic of those. So yeah, does anyone still remember what the qualifications/requirements are to get the extra stage for those game versions???

Thanks

I think you gotta get a base overall grade of an A by playing only [A] charts for 9th style.

After that you get the PSM ES. Then you gotta A that on [A] to get the Quasar OMES. It's by far the easiest OMES since DJT.

I don't remember 10th or RED though.

Definitely hard clear + A overall for 9 and 10, don't really remember for red.

Well, my computer bit the dust and I haven't been able to find the website that had all the updated difficulties for older songs. It wasn't the ones posted in here earlier, either. It had doubles difficulties, too. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about
