D.A.N.C.E. => m-flo?

It's been bothering me for awhile but D.A.N.C.E. from IIDX sound a whole lot like "the love bug" from m-flo <3's Boa. I mean is it another one of those sample backgrounds that was on another thread or is it just a similar sounding song? Or is it another one of those j-revival songs like choo choo train and such?
Um sorry I don't have a sample of the m-flo song but it's on youtube if you look it up.

I thought that I was the only one who noticed that! It really stands out to me at the end of the song, almost identical imo.

D.A.N.C.E. is just very formula based J-Pop. Nothing new here.

And those that like it more than m-flo's songs are stupid. Real pop > video game pop.

It may follow a generic formula, but I agree with Luigi that the guitar part at the end gets dangerously similar. I guess I'm glad that I never really found D.A.N.C.E! to be that appealing for a Yoshitaka or Hoshino song.

Hey, m-flo was on beatmania you know. What do you consider 'real' and not. I swear that sometimes you guys don't see the painstaking difficulty of making quality music.

DJ Yoshitaka is cool, m-flo is cool, we're all cool. Case settled.

m-flo was an artist on a real label (it was avex, but now they are on rhythm zone i think?) before being featured in beatmania. Hence the distinction.

It was as Trick said, it was more of a tribute to J-pop stuff ala M-flo by Yoshitaka.

It wasn't done by m-flo since they were a license back in the day.

Eh. Saying that one song sounds like another would bring up a hundred other songs that sound like a hundred other songs.

It's nothing new that songs sound similar - why make a big deal now? Popular genres often spawn music that sound similar.

I happen to like them both.
