So I've almost beat all normal songs on Beatmania US (that almost is Love is Dreaminess... ...) and I was wondering... I'm totally stuck, what all should I do (besides just playing songs I've beat) should I do until my IIDX RED and Mod Chip arrive?

Expert courses and improving scores. What range are yours currently at as a whole (ie, what grade, preferrably the Japanese grading if you're familiar with it)?

Also, it never hurts to improve your skill with different mods. Try Challenge-clearing anything you haven't yet, and definitely improve your speed-reading as much as possible (not that you're guaranteed to need it, but when does it EVER hurt to be able to respond faster?)

Try to raise scores on the easier songs and keep working up the list till you can pass LiD. Once you have passed that, move up to the next difficulty and try to pass as many songs as you can while still trying to raise scores as high as possible.

So I guess practice = Raise old scores/work on JG attack, try to pass as many songs as possible on higher difficulties and possibly try raising your Hi-Speeds if you are comfortable doing so.

Also, I don't play BMUS personaly so idk if it's in there or not but if it has sorts by dj level, start with your highest grade letter and try to get as many songs in that folder into a higher one as you can.

Thanks, yea, I don't mind raising my speed level. Any suggestions on how to hit chords? I'm HORRIBLE at those.

Just checking, since you make no mention of it: you DO have Anothers, yes?

If chords are an issue, another trick might be to try songs that trouble you with some new hand placements. As you yourself said, there's time to kill, so experiment a little and see what settings you haven't used are working for you.

Yes, I do have anothers.
On LOVE IS DREAMINESS. I KNOW what's going on in the song, but I simply can't drum and play a synth section at the same time.

This would be a good time to practice some one-handing on other songs, then, so that you can get used to having your hands work more independently of one another. Also, a suggestion that some people love: tried Random yet?

Breaks up some of the patterns and potentially makes them easier to manage between two hands. A lot of players swear by it.

If nothing else, try raising older stuff with Random on, to get a feel for how it works out.

Haha, sometimes random makes it easier, sometimes harder.

But I would definatly agree with trying random on some songs. You'll get more variety of patterns. Speed is all I can say to work on. If you have really good speed, your timing should come naturally with practice.
