Does IIDX CS games have true widescreen?

What a bunch of fucktards. I played that way for a week or so when I first started, but the stretched notes are ugly. It's like when someone watches a TV show that's clearly filmed in 4:3, but stretches it to 16:9, 'cause it's bigger, innit'. Looks hideous.

Bottom Line:

If you want the arcade experience at home:
Step #1 - Buy a 16:9 widescreen TV (preferably a CRT)
Step #2 - Go to Options and set the screen to 16:9


If you want the CS experience at home:
Step #1 - Buy a standard 4:3 TV (preferably a CRT)
Step #2 - Go to Options and set the screen to 4:3



If you like oddities and such:

Alternative #1 - Go to Options and set the screen to 4:3 on your 16:9 TV....you'll get a big original stretch.

Alternative #2 - Go to Options and set the screen to 16:9 on your 4:3 TV....you'll get a smashed AC experience.

Fuck that noise, here's the NMD method:

1. Buy decent widescreen CRT
2. Set Original 4:3 on BMIIDX
3. Change aspect on decent widescreen CRT to 4:3

Sorted. No need for a shitty 4:3 CRT, plus you can revert to 16:9 when playing doubles.
