GOLD RUSH = GREED?

Okay a while back I was listening to Gold Rush and I was thinking: "Yeah this song is totally about Konami making lots of money (one way or another)."

IDK to me sounds like "Making lots of money! Konami's going to (sue you / busting out mixes / being innovating / f'n millionares / pointing fingers / swimming in a pool of money / laughing at your misfortues)!". And with some wierd vivid imagination of mines can just see all the franchises they made and the ones they pressed charges on. Then repeat the first couple of lines.

Anybody else had that kinda feeling when they were listening to this song? Sorry if this was mentioned before but damn search gives me 15 pages of "Gold Rush".

I really doubt anyone has thought about this before.

I also really doubt that would be the message. Yoshitaka has no hidden agenda and I doubt Konami would make him create a song that had those undertones. I'm guessing this kinda line of thought stems from everyone who thinks Fascination Eternal Love mix is a conspiracy against ITG.

I thought of it before but I dismissed it knowing that the idea is complete crap. the lyrics do seem just thrown together english crap to sound cool but yeah.

I'd almost want to agree that FELM is a stab against ITG; but that's mostly because I lost pretty much all respect for the DDR team a long time ago.

Fortunately for me, the IIDX team still has it <3

And I think Gold Rush is just a tongue-in-cheek thing, mocking fascination with rich people? I don't know! Probably it is just hilarious!
