Guess what. I used my camera and made it capture 60fps. I made MAX LOVE (bpm 180, regul-speed in training mode) with original speed, green number at 1000. There were 4 spacings in the beat line. When I made it hi-0.5, space reduced by half. That proves the green number represents something like miliseconds.
After that, I did with hanaranman, original speed, green number 1000, and found out that the spacing went different (7 quaver spaces only), and confirmed that the number is not representing something like bar line portion. Finally, through calculation with BPM and timing, we see that with the number 1000, it means that the note needs 2000ms to drop from the cover to the judgement line.
Relevant videos could be supplied in request | Interesting thought (do post videos about it if possible).
P.S.
I heard you guys have Empress Asian Version already (in Virtual Zone in Kowloon Bay and MK 88 in Mong Kok as well as in X-land Tsuen Wan among other places). Care to post some pictures (we needed to show to our local arcade here to get EMPRESS as well).
Thanks

So you're saying that green number translates to half of the number of milliseconds that notes stay on the screen?

It should be pretty straight forward. Each blue line corresponds to a different HI-SPEED setting. You just track where the BPM and HI-SPEED lines cross to check which SUD+ number you should use to have a Green number of about 300.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | so i finished up something i resolved and started to do months ago but finally found some help files to tell me how to do it without spending three hours to cut and paste formulas click on me
that is an xls file which you can open with google docs or whatever and it will generate a table of all the sudden plus values you could use for the bpms listed in the first column
the upper left corner is the green number used to make the calculations and is currently set to 300
change that to whatever green number you use and the spreadsheet does the work

Up and down control BPM, left and right control green number and 0 closes the app.
I only tested it on a Nokia N70, therefore some hispeed rows might not be shown on your display. I would love some feedback Green Number v0.1

(I know, it's quite useless, but it was a pretext for learn a bit of C )

I'm tempted to do this in Java now >_>

how do you set Empress CS up so that i keeps your Green number constant even when you change your HI-Speed?
