spd being the highspeed multiplier (1 = 2x, 1.5 = 2.25x, 2 = 2.5x, and so on)
basically, the lower the number is, the faster you read. it's useful because you can find a green number that's a comfortable reading speed and then tweak it so every song you play will have the same green number (and thus the same comfortable speed.)

IIRC the green number tells you how many ms the notes are on the screen until they vanish.

So yes the green number correlates across all songs that don't have BPM changes. Because when the BPM changes so does the green number.

I tend to keep mine at 310. It makes everything readable

The green number is a great feature. I don't have to find comfortable sudden+ height for all the BPMs, just stick to one green number and life feels so good. I tend to use 315~320.

I love the green number, but I think I rely on it too much. Took a while to get used to manual speeds/sudden+ on pre-gold again ._.

So now I finally know what it's for. That's darn handy, some tracks are a lot 'easier' to play with sudden+ at a nice 'n high level.

I love the green number. It's so awesome how they keep adding all these useful features to a game that doesn't seem like anything could be added on top of songs.

My green number is 310-311. What's yours?
