Default HAPPY SKY on LCD & Timing Adjustments

Dear HAPPY SKY players that use HDTV's.

My timing is already fubared (adjusted to the LCD) with a -1 timing adjustment.

I would like to repair this by getting it back to arcade/crt timing levels but what would be the best adjustment to set it to?

Or better would be suggestions as to what to set it to for it to become 'regular' again?

I don't wanna head to AI just to get E's, D's and C's on everything

I guess it would be good to say the type of TV I have.
It is a 32" Samsung LCD TV. LNS3251D

I don't think you have to.

You see, the function of the timing adjustment in HS is to bring the timing of the notes in line with the timing of the song - mostly so that you don't have to hit the notes early or late in order to score the song proper. It doesn't change the timing of the whole song, just fixes it so that the timing is correct. Basically, it shifts the note set up or down a bit to compensate for a specific televisions delay.

In short, playing on an LCD with a -1 timing is the same as playing on a CRT with a 0 timing. So playing on an AC?CRT version shouldn't give you any problems. Any small differences int he timing you'll likely compensate for yourself in the first few songs.

I don't have happy sky yet, but 1. this feature sounds awesome, and more importantly 2. it definitely seems like it would make more sense for the game to adjust when you see the notes on the screen but keep when the game registers the notes the same, not affecting timing at all.

So my educated guess at an answer would be, play with it until it seems right? Although that could end up being different than in the arcade :-/..

That's the problem. I know it doesn't change the timing of the song. I have already experienced being demolished in the arcade after getting adjusted to 0 adjustment of the Timing Adjustment.
C C C D C D in the arcade.

Then afterwards, I set it to -1 and gotten adjusted to that.

When I went back down to San Diego for New Year's my friends brought over some tv's to my old room so we can game it up the whole night. I had a chance to play some HAPPY SKY during some downtime and after setting the timing back to 0 all the scores were E D E E and so on. Not a pretty sight.

Thus I am asking for those that do have an LCD HDTV and play at the arcade for their opinion/input as to what Timing Adjustment to use, so when AI gets DistorteD back up and running I won't get molested when trying to clear Alfarshear [a].

There's already a thread up about fixing lag on TVs. When it comes to Happy Sky, it's mainly a matter of finding the timing adjustment that works the best on the TV. On LCD TVs though fixing the lag is next to impossible unfortunately which is why I will never use them for gaming.
