Happy Sky + Swap Magic, does it work well?

No, no, you don't take off the FlipTop.
Just take off the screws and keep the fliptop on like it had screws, so pretty much all your doing is taking out the screws at the bottom of the PS2 so the FlipTop isn't hugging the PS2 tightly, so it's a bit loose, but enough to let the game run.
Just watch out when you're moving your PS2 though, that's really about it.

Had a similar problem when I first installed Happy Sky on my HDD from a bad burn, but I reburned it and I haven't had that problem.

Damn, mine stopped working again

anyone have a solution for a person with a Slim PS2 with Swapmagic 3.0 and slimtooled dvd drive? My disk is now loading only about 1/4th of the songs and I really wish i could play HS again

Happens with PAL too. HS freezes for me with V and Airflow, not all the time. But enough that I quit out and save before playing them. And Red has issues with Outer Walls. Original copies.

ive never had a problem with mine..but i have swap magic 3.3 i think..maybe you need a new sm disc

The problem is the spinning of the disc. You guys should either loosen the screw like someone mentioned above. Or tried to pull the top case up a little bit when it loads sounds that you will hear scratching sounds.. Like everytime i play V, airflow, in the sky, i will pull the top case a little bit, the disc wont scratch and it will load fast..

Awesome, the disk must have been the problem with me. I tried taking the Image out of my actual game and burned it a few times on every media I had and it somehow worked on some random Nexxtech DVD-R i had lying around. All the problem songs from before work for me now.

Whatever it took, I can finally get some HS in which is going to be awesome
