Marketplace Rating: 0 | Hard parts in songs I can past most 11's and a couple of twelves [on easy]
But for some reason, I cant do the very end part of STOIC [7k] which is meant to be one of the easiest parts of the song, without getting at least 10-15 misses.
The rest i can do near perfectly. Just that very last part and it looks easy.
Does anyone else stumble on parts of songs that they should be very easily able to do?

Marketplace Rating: 0 | 9000 the point is i shouldnt have to practice a SIMPLER part of a 10 star song at my level but just that one part for some reason rapes me and i dont know why.
I have probably played stoic since 7th style about 200 times.
Im just asking if anyone has small problems on easy songs that they wonder about.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | My play level is a little below yours, but I know I have certainly felt the same.
I stopped playing for a while and then decided to pick up a few new styles recently and after playing a bit more seriously, I found that when I went back to the older songs I was struggling with before, I found them incredibly easy.
I guess practice is the only real way...
Unless you currently have all the styles available, it is always worth trying a variety of other songs/styles, where although the notecharts are not the same, they offer a good diversity of patterns etc to build up coordination/hand strength!

Marketplace Rating: 2 | not really, but if I dont play in a long time, and I play beatmania again, I start messing up pretty badly on easy songs I have full combo'd. I will also play bad if I am not positioned in front of the turntable correctly (yes, I know that sounds weird).

Marketplace Rating: 1 | there's a lot of songs that have really annoying parts in them, almost always at the end so that you fail them.
Bad Boy Bass Remo-con mix [h] comes to mind.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | It's the 1-2-1 stuff if I'm remembering the chart properly.
The way I've overcome most of the times I got really stuck was by not playing for a pretty long time. Not like, totally stopping, but just playing less often and not really playing as seriously. When I come back I usually notice stuff seeming much easier.
The only real explanation I can think of is that without realizing it you force yourself into bad habits the more you try to do something and fail. When you come back after a break you're starting clean and you can approach it in a different way, even if you aren't consciously thinking about any of this at all.

Marketplace Rating: 13 | -If you're not using random 99% of the time, do so.
-What Deca said. If not a break from the game itself, a break from Stoic. There's a point where trying too hard becomes a roadblock in itself and at that point any success will likely be due to pure chance.
Shelve Stoic and play other songs. Come back and give Stoic a shot as part of casual play and you might be suprised at how things suddenly click.

Does anyone else stumble on parts of songs that they should be very easily able to do? | One problem, NEVER use easy. I've never, ever, ever used that. It just gives you false ideas that you can pass things you are in no way ready for.
Second, the end of stoic is the hardest part of the song, in my opinion. It's mainly because of the stairs with your LEFT hand that gets me.
And yea, I stumble upon a lot of parts in songs that just kick my ass, a lot of ends to songs do that.
All I can say is just PLAY THEM UNTIL YOU BLEED and you might pass them.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I swear, it's always the last 10 seconds of the song that'll mess me up & make me fail. I mean, I can't pass some songs on [h] & [a] on 9s but some on 10s (mostly [h], but FEW [a]). I can't pass Second Heaven due to the ending but I can pass so many harder songs on Hyper (like Sequence Cat)...

Being that he can easy pass a few 12's, I'm sure he would at least know how to practice by now.

And, since he is playing with easy on, he can easily bullshit his way through a lot more things than with a normal life bar. If he has background with other bemanis, then it's also possible that he never hit a roadblock before now.
Some songs just have ridiculous endings, and that's what makes it whatever level it is set at. Just skip whatever songs you have trouble with then come back to it. Drilling works sometimes, but you'll just tire yourself out. Just give the song a break, and by the next time you play it, you'll probably see the hard patterns in a different light and have an easier time reading them.

Of course everyone has problems with hard parts of songs. Some people have strengths that might be others' biggest weaknesses. This is a very rhetorical question.
If noone had any problems, then everyone would be AAA PC'ing all 12s with ease.
