Ok, so i just read the whole FAQ thread, and it didnt really help my question so much...

Im a beginner to IIDX, i have the US PS2 one titled "Beatmania".
I just Downloaded Be-Pachi, because there arent enough songs on mine.
I keep downloading songs, and all of them seem too challenging for me to pass, but i can end it with my meter around 3/4ths the way up.

What are some easy songs that help you get used to the IIDX controller?

practice. actually beatmania U.S. is a great way to start off getting used to the controller. It will take a while to get used to the controller.

Also anything you are probably downloading for be-pachi, is probably way out of your leauge, once you get used to playing the PS2 game, then try some easy songs on be-pachi.

yeah, despite the fact that it doesn't have a ton of songs, the US beatmania really is a good introductory mix, it has a lot of the songs I played a ton when I was first learning.
