Just take your time, and it'll work out though. I've placed some cloth underneath the TT, it came with my fp7 in the first place. I took it out at first, since it barely spun - so I cut out some tiny parts. | yeah, i'm leaning towards just putting a piece of cloth underneath. Tightening the screws just put more stress into the junction I think. Do you guys recommend a soft material, rather than something more rigid? As I said above I bought a piece of felt but it's a fairly stiff and rigid piece. Would soft felt work better?

Three of the teeth on the turntable bottom plate have also broken off which means that it is not going to work properly unless I replace the whole bottom plate!
Man... my original PE was not in great shape when I got it either, pretty sure that Parcelforce UK are pretty lame! Such a shame after spending spending a hefty price on shipping.
Anyway, complaints aside, it looks great compared to the old PE turntable. It is much better quality and I am sure it will be awesome!
I also forgot about it when I ordered it, but I have all white LEDs in my PE at the moment and want to continue with that. Presumably this will have the default blue LEDs in at the moment (Still at work so cant check!) so has anyone replaced the LEDs in the new TT and care to offer a little advice?
Thanks
EDIT: @HyperD. I guess I can help you now in fact as I can see the new Dao turntable mechanism. It seems that tightening the screws does not make any difference unlike the old PE turntable, so I think the best way is to add more cloth or something underneath the TT in the same place where the current felt donut-shaped thing is. It might be better to use something relatively soft though as the whole unit may not be 100% flat, so something with a bit more flexibility could be good.
You might as well try the piece of felt you have at the moment and see if it works. If not, take it out again and find something which will be more suitable.

What are you going to do about this matter?

I haven't purchased anything from him lately, but I still think he's the best alternative.

Anyway, I have tried to wire up my controller with the new TT upgrade and replacement PCB to no avail. I get no response from anything at all, even though everything appears to be correctly wired.
If anyone is feeling generous, I would really appreciate it if someone might be able to provide a photo or some sort of detail as to how the wiring in the new PEE turntable is done.
Thanks

Thanks | There's a vid on Dailymotion on how to install that upgrade kit.

Total Tokens: 124.86 Donate Tokens | Hey everybody, long time ex-Bemani player, recently got interested in IIDX once more. I have some questions regarding this awesome controller I see. I was looking at getting an FP7 for my PS2 IIDX, but mainly for the PC. There seems to be some conflicting information about the controller. According to their English site, all the controllers are PS2 + USB solely for powering the lights, and can use a PS2 to parallel adaptor for PC use with no lag. However, I saw a couple posts more recently that said that their controllers now come with a split cable that has a PS2 and a USB connector for controller input (the 2nd USB connector remains for power), and the USB connection works without the lag problem usually gotten through a PS2->USB adaptor. Is this true? Also, how long does it usually take to get one shipped to North America (Canada specifically)? Thanks!

Its just PSX+usb, you'll need a printer port on your pc.

There was the USB power cable, and the other cable split at the end into PS2 and USB connectors. For the life of me, I can't find it again... I do have a parallel port on my PC though, so it should be fine either way. I hear this method has no lag, unlike the PS2->USB adaptors. How long does it usually take to get one of these controllers? I'm really, really tempted... How does the FP7 compare to the higher end ones? They're just too expensive I think, but the FP7 I can justify.

Just go for sanwa's when you're at it.
How long? Well if you look through the last posts, DAO is taking his time with making and sending out controllers, for me it took 2 weeks (europe) after payment. In some cases you won't get notified by DAO, or a little too late, then you might find the box with the controller right at your doorstep.
The same question got asked by someone else a couple of posts back, with a reply being '8 days'. (the send process, readying the controller is a different story)
Don't doubt in DAO when you dont hear from him, you ALWAYS will get your controller, unless (in 2/100 cases) the shipping process fucks up and you wont get it. But even in those cases, DAO will send you a new one.
Believe me, just do it, buy one, you'll be so happy. I still remember when I opened the box : D.
