A bit new at this, is beatmania the same as stepmania? I have stepmania and I want to know how I could go about getting music by artists like... Slipknot//KillswitchEngage//and just more new music in general, and I also may be interested in learning how to make these beats... I have a lot of free time...

1) Beatmania isnt like stepmania for reasons more obvious than others (arrows vs notes, creating sounds vs tapping to them, etc)

2) Bemanistyle has a huge assortment of sim files under the "simulation" tab at the top. Although if you are asking for the actual music files, you cannot come on here and request them. Its against the rules.

3) We have a music production forum towards the bottom of the forum list.
