How much costs a BMIIDX cabinet???

I'm from Brazil, and I want to know how much is a BMIIDX cabinet with a good version (like 9th or RED)...
Is for a friend, because he wants to buy one to put in his game store...

I'm guessing a cabinet may cost several thousands, like maybe well over $10,000 US. I'm not exactly sure, though.

Buying nearly any cabinet is probably an expensive endeavour. Especially shipping it overseas.

I've heard that the newer ones run 8000 or more for slightly less recent ones and the latest ones can be 10000 and beyond.

New cabinets will easily cost 14,000 US

My friend spent about 10,000 US on his distorted machine (originally 9th style)

I payed 8300 for my 8th Style shipped from japan.

New Cabs cost around 13-15k. Depends on what you want.
though, it's not worth it unless you have enough customers that would play it.

If you want to but one for person use, then i suggest building one on your own, unless your loaded then please buy one.

Thing is the machine doesnt include a screen as far as i know so you have to fork out for a decent screen on top of that as well. Is it legal to set up a ps2 in an arcade and charge people to use it?? I know they used to do it with gundam etc and it had a special cabinet designed to let coins activate the start key........ just wondering about it

I think drummania machines have a ps2 inside them, but they are officially copyrighted and made by konami sony etc.
you can't build your own cab and put a playstation in it, and charge people to play

More like its a PS2 based system, it isn't just any old PS2 in there. All the GF/DM mixes from V-V3 have been based on this hardware. It's as different from your stock PS2 as you can get as it is quite well modified and includes a different I/O board, a HDD, security chips and other features not seen normally in a PS2.
