Default I Need Some Help Guys.(not game related)

So heres the story. In a week or so me and my family will be moving because the house that we are currently renting is being sold so we are going across town. Before i really put any furniture in the house i wanted to build something cool for my room.
I decided that since this small island has no iidx machines anywhere and no hope for getting one in the future that i would make my own. Since i have no place to check the dimensions i was wondering if you could help me. (oh and my TV just broke)

Heres what i need.

IIDX Monitor Size
: I believe its either 32 inch or 40 widescreen HDTV im not sure
Hight from the platform to the controller? I remember reading that it might be 3 feet
Hight from the ground to the Monitor? i have no clue on this one but im assuming like 4 inches higher
Hight of the platform? again, no idea.

And any other dimensions that you know of.

Thanks in advance

IIDX machine dimensions really suck. Seriously. They're designed for small Asian people and most Westerners have to kind of squat or spread their legs out really wide to actually play at a comfortable height.

Ditch the idea imo :/

Before the thread is locked can someone please find the dimensions so that the FAQ can have this information and this thread can stop popping up every fucking month.

I'm referring to people in Japan (you know, where the game is made) where the average height is considerably less. A quick Google search will tell you that the average height of a man in the US is 5'9", while in Japan it is 5'5". Same deal for women, 5'4" versus 5'0".

There's basically a different monitor on every machine. Just make sure you get a CRT widescreen, not LCD or plasma or anything. I'd go with 32" above 40", because honestly the smaller ones are easier to read. On the really big ones I find myself using 350-400 Sudden+ and low Hi-Speed settings.

I'm about 5'10" and 130 lbs. (small) and I agree with everyone saying the machines are too small. I found myself rubbing elbows with people quite often when I played against someone.

i agree with rmz that the game wasn't made for us (thats why it has the "for only sale and use in japan")

I think i decided to go with the 32 inch which should work out for me.
Any other information? It really would be helpful to be in the f.a.q.
