Okay, I was thinking about getting this, but after looking over the track listing a hundred times I need to know - Why is Regulus NOT on the soundtrack?!

That was one of the game's best songs!

It's on the History of Beatmania IIDX soundtrack, a best-of from 1st Style to 5th Style.

Not really, but some songs got mildly remastered.

There is a long version of Hitchhiker, that merges Hitchhiker 1 & 2, and a live version of .59

As an aside, patsenner & into the world debuted on the Beatmania [5-Key] BEST soundtrack.

EDIT: I forgot that the History of Beatmania IIDX had BRILLIANT 2U on it, which wasn't on any IIDX soundtrack before or after.

AFAIK the only Konami original IIDX song not on an OST in any way is Queen's Jamaica (astria mix).

So when are they gonna release The History volumes 2 and 3?

Although that would have been a good way to include some of the exclusive tracks that were released on V-Rares.

Regulus probably wasn't on the OST, since it was just the instrumental track from Over the Clouds. It could be that it wasn't enough reason for them to justify giving it its own space on the disc?

ideally vol.2 could cover 6th - 10th and vol. 3 would cover 11 -15.
