IIDX GOLD Upgrade Kit for 8 on the Break

The break is in a bit of a dilemma. Chris wants to buy a IIDX Gold Upgrade kit for $1K and not much over that. I've been given the task of tracking down the upgrade kit, but no search has gave me what we need. Anybody know any arcade distributors that have IIDX Gold Upgrade kits, and ones that are cheap? We have DistorteD now, and in need of an upgrade. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Chris and Dan are counting on me.

If you'd like a TROOPERS, that is. He won't tell his price to any "non-serioius" buyers.

The big problem is that they changed the BemaniPC out for some other PC hardware (Taito Type X, I'm told) in GOLD, so you would have to track down the hardware. This is why everyone and their dog were selling the BemaniPC shortly after the GOLD upgrade -- didn't need it anymore.

Pretty much means that he's out to scalp the living fuck out of you. Also doubtful it's been unlocked as well, meaning you would be totally fucked if you would want to buy it.

Just keep looking at YAJ and stuff, you'll find it eventually, although I have no idea for what price.

I'm going to assume/hope that the 1500 for Gold includes the new hardware and all. That sucks if not.

And to clarify his DJ Trooper price, it's 3k if upgrading from Gold, 5k otherwise (9th style up)

hey can someone tell chris that when you boot up the machine it says in japanese to clean the rear projector?

the message isn't transmitted from the computer, it's a message from the display's hardware itself. you know, kinda like when you press the menu button on an LCD monitor.

it would probably make the display a lot more clear... especially at day time.
