I don't think that's a smart idea. What kind of lube are you talking about?

If you're using a JKOC, then find the exact location where the key is sticking and shave it down even further. You shouldn't have to use any type of lubrication to prevent sticking. Plus it would most likely just attract more dust/dirt to your keys and eventually start sticking all over again.

Ya definitely DON'T do it! I tried WD-40ing my keys to stop them sticking once and then instead of the keys sticking 1/10th of the time they stuck EVERY time.

use a dry-lube like powdered graphite.

I haven't done it myself, but it's much better than any liquid lube I could think of.

Ehehehe guys...

I've written a tutorial.. but it's in Italian...

However I'll post it. and I'll give you 2 tips:

1) you can understand all from the images
2) you need 7 coins (1 eurocent or similar-size.)

Maybe if you guys want, I'll translate the tutorial

----------------------------------------------------------------

Ive sprayed Silicon Lubricant on my JKOC many times. Its 7 years old (older than my iidxing i got it used) and works perfect. Also Plastic and Cardboard modded.

Not a sticky key once ever.

my 7th key was sticking once, all I did was slam it in as hard as I could and it never stuck again. I really dont recommend that though, I was just very pissed off that day, as nothing was going my way.
