Ok so here are some nice vids of the IIDX GOLD slot machine on Youtube....

I have no idea what's really going on in the second one and the end of the first one, but it looks SO FREAKIN' COOL!!! Man, if the CS versions could do all sorts of things like THAT, I'd be so totally happy! Well, enjoy and tell me your thoughts and opinions.

I gotta admit, that would be pretty fucking awesome if they made mainsteam IIDX use that storyline stuff.

It would be awesome if IIDX Versions have those animations during game select menus...

I agree! I mean, that's one of the reasons I don't are much for the characters in the game... because they're NEVER anywhere... sure thay're in vids but when I'm playing the game, I really don't pay much attention to those... and yeah, they're on the box but....... and yeah... there are pics, but you really only get those when you REALLY do something.

In DDR or Pop'n or really any other game, you see them in parts of the interface. In IIDX... you don't.

It'd be so cool if they had them in the interface and all thsoe animations and stuff.... Well... here's to hoping....

Uh... a CS version of a slot machine??? How would that work?

Its pretty interesting to see them put voices to all the characters and such. Its really strange that of all the iidx games to put animations and voices for the characters etc it would be a slot machine.

Not to mention these vids only confuse me even more of how the slot machine works.

I don't see where the confusion lies, you play the slot machine like normal, if you hit the jackpot, you play a IIDX minigame for extra credits, and the game probably pays out in tokens/credits to a swipe card to get around gambling laws.

Wow I must've misseed the sakura bit... hmmm.... Well anyhow I'm not sure where one is...

It just looks confusing because you can't see what the actual person is doing, but wow I can't get over how ... how... interactive it looks compared to the normal IIDX... Wow Konami, you sure outdid yourselves for a slot machine... now if only you could put just as much effort into the ACTUAL IIDX.

.after thought.... would it be such a bad thing for IIDX to have minigames? I mean, why not? It can still have everything else.... Sorry, I'm just really hung up on this...
