Looking for arcade IIDX measurments

If someone could help me, that'd be great. I'd like to have the measurements of a IIDX arcade cabinet solely so I can make sure my two controllers when I play doubles at home are proper distance apart. So, the distance between the 7key on the 1P side and the 1key on the 2P side would suffice.

While they may be the proper distance apart, you will never fix the turntables so that they are an equal distance apart from the keys to mimic the arcade controller.

Do you have a pair of Konami ASCs? If not, why bother? If you do, just place them about 30cm apart. That will suffice. It's not like having the 'official' measurements will improve your game playing skills or anything.

Steps to getting perfect machine mesurements.

1. Find an arcade machine pannel.
2. rewire it to PS2 compatable.
3. Play.

Yes, it can be done, and yes, I've seen people use them.

The reason why I ask is that I play doubles at the arcade, and at home I have two home-made ASC's.. I know the turntables won't be right but the buttons are what I'm worried about. I've found that how well I play is totally dependant on how far apart my controllers are (since I'm used to arcade). I was just hoping someone had the measurement offhand. I'll just take a tape measure next time I head down to Sunnyvale Golfland. Thanks guys.

Well once the numbers are finalized (I tried googling a bit when you first wrote this and came up empty), can someone please post the numbers here and have the same info put into the FAQ.

Because it seems like this comes up frequently enough.

That's a good start.
All that's missing is the distance between the 1P and 2P sides and the height of the tabletop.

I'll take a measuring tape to the arcade next time I go. If no one's figured them out by then, I'll post the results here.
