In all honesty, though, the visuals are infinitely better on 5-key. IIDX just feels different, while 5-key is hardcore Mario Paint visuals. I mean really. A toothless black dude playing a xylophone? Rockin' moai heads? A dude with dreads eating jam from a spoon? You don't get that with IIDX.

I recently bought a DJ Station Pro and a copy of Gottamix and original Beatmania JP. I've had my fun with it but I knew most of the songs because of IIDX and my Beatmania EU (yes burn with fire).

Love Eurobeat and Gabbah though.

Oh god I love the dj station pro so goddamn much. I wanted one so bad when i first started playing, finally got one a little after a year ago and it was like a dream come true <3

I'm a little disappointed in how much static you can hear through the headphone port though. Plus it's way too fucking loud, I have to turn it down to around 1 for it to be at a listenable volume

Yes I have. And while the e-Amusement system is amazing, from what I hear it doesn't work outside of japan. So, unless I'm in Japan I can't use it.

Also, while I can buy an E-Amusement card for around 7-15$ on E-Bay, I can go down to the local Office Max and buy a floppy disk for around 75 cents. It's cheap, and I don't have to go through any hubub.
