I've had my PE for over a week now. This controller is everything I thought it would be. Of course, it takes time getting used to when you have no experience playing on a machine. But I'm doing fine with it. The distance between the turntable and keys is perfect. Got no problem with it at all. The only things I'm having trouble getting used to is the weight of the turntable and the way the keys press down. This is the way things should be of course. I wouldn't want the feel to be any less than arcade.
The light problem that showed up before was very easy to fix. Just opened it up removed the led, adjusted the contacts on it and put it back in. It has been working fine for hours of extensive play for days since then.
I'm gonna ask some people from over here (some who've played IIDX in Italy) for their oppinion and post it here.

Everytime I look at the pics/videos it makes me even more impatient but I will hold off on the questions this time around since people before 7.0 started going off on me, and about that I hope you people that did that aren't really like that in person..not saying I'm taking it personally but yeah. Can't wait for these controllers to be released!
that looks damn nice. i think the overall light-up effect is better than my local ARCADE one. Is it powered direct from PS2 or does it also need external power source?

The lighting is powered by the PS2. There are two wires on the controller: A PS2 one for playing, and a USB one for plugging into the PS2 for lighting power. I'm guessing you could plug it into any other USB outlet for lighting power too?
I never even heard of these, maybe cuz my IIDX interest has declined, but goddamn, I say, these are hot. Congrats on making a supreme product. Looks like DK has some competition.
