I'm telling you, wait until it arrives, then start talking about it. It's NOT like it'll arrive, and you won't know about it.
And Thrill Drive 4 being successful/flop as a test game has nothing to do with IIDX, where are you getting that from?
On a sidenote, I'd play TD4 because TD1 and 2 were that awesome. I can't believe they made a sequel to 1, although I kind of enjoyed the deluxe cabinet (same as Racing Jam).

Well at least IIDX being tested in the US, whether it be Gold or any other mix is a good sign. It's no assurance but still looking up.

I've played TD2 (rain course + england being my fave) for more than a year and TD3 for a month now.
TD3 is real scary though. The cabinet really shakes everytime you get into a collision. Really sick indeed. 
Now with this TD4 announcement, I don't know what kind of sick things Konami can possibly add for this sequel.
