The other reason I say not to believe it just yet is because IIDX is in english for the most part, aside from a handful of songs, so information might just be passed along as though it's localized when in truth, it's identical to the japanese version. Given the nature of this test, I'd be VERY surprised if song titles were romanized/translated.

The only thing that I can think of that could use an english overhaul for US audiences is Class Mode. -Dan and -Kyu don't exactly make sense to most English-speakers, not to mention it's the only option on the main menu that's entirely in Kanji.

The only other game players who would know what the hell dan and kyu mean would prolly be Tekken players.
I'd be surprised if Kanako Hoshino wasn't romanized.

I talked to one of the guys at betson, he said he was pretty sure it was gold, and said whatever is probably the newest one in japan is, is what they are sending. I also called BZN, and they said, early March, and they dont know what style it is. Still talking to betson about it though.

also anyone think e-amuse will be taken out, I actualy think I have to kiss that awesomne part about the machine goodbye.

I heard from DJ NA that the word around Japan is that GOLD is going to have scorers from USA and other countries. e-amuse yay?

Saw the test machine in Europe on YouTube (YouTube - Beatmania IIDX Gold ES ), and it seems like the machine's UI is in japanese. Hopefully the same won't be true for the US edition.
