Also, I think you should probably keep you hands parallel to each other.
That just looks very painful after playing a while.

Thanks for all of the responses. I was kind of wondering if it was like a bar raping thing on DDR or something where playing with two hands is frowned upon. There needs to be more IIDX players near where I live!

It's more the other way around. My problem hardly using my left hand is because I have to concentrate it on scratching.

As far as scoring and stuff, basically anything goes. HS is fine with us. "Shuffle" or random is A'ok, and both hands are basically needed if you plan on being any good.
The rules are slightly different because honestly, the game has a much steeper learning curve than DDR, so using things like HS and both your hands are a neccesity and usually aren't thought twice about.

Doubles is such a horribly foreign concept to me, at least until I can get another controller to practice with at home.

Total Tokens: 371.72 Donate Tokens | I play two-handed, right side. I think there is a huge difference between one handed play and two handed play, simply because of the added fingers. It's a lot easier to read the thicker charts if you have 9 or 10 fingers instead of just 5. I do use my left hand for most of the keys, but my right hand does a lot of the anchored stuff, when it's on the right side of the chart.
