The deep striker

They obviously sound very VERY similar, so OLA was inspired by the deep strikers or vise versa. Although the charts are different.

So in that sense, can OLA be considered a preview song of DJ Troopers?

No. They are the same genre and the same artist, of course they sound similar!

Well damn i'm pretty sure because something is the same genre doesn't necessarily mean it's gonna sound similar or the same as another song.

An example can be Aurora and Go Beyond. They're both Trance core yet don't sound anything alike. Hell, they're even (partially) the same artist.

The reason they don't sound similar is exactly that: it wasn't JUST Ryu doing the song. If you hadn't noticed a lot of his stuff sounds pretty goddamn similar (I'm not complaining). With Sota thrown in of course it sounds different.

Outer Limits hasn't been on the arcade IIDX games since 9th style. I really, REALLY doubt it's coming back.

Another stupid IIDX thread about "insert song here"? No, I got the gist of that. It's the people who don't research about songs that bothers me. Aside from GOLD, there has been no IIDX arcade game since RED to revive CS songs. To think Outer Limits Alternative will be in DJ TROOPERS when DistorteD just came out 4 months ago is pretty funny. Konami hasn't done so small a time frame with CS songs being implemented in a while.

Outer Limits was a 6th style CS exclusive song originally. Outer Limits Alternative was introduced in DD. When adding these two songs together you may or may not end up with The Deep Strikers.
