Petition for Beatmania (PS2) for PAL Version in Europe/Spain (PLEASE READ N HELP!!)

We are an european group who started a petition for bringing Beatmania UK for PS2 into a PAL Version so we Europeans/Spanish people (too) have it too with it's 7 Keys and DJ Turntable Controller

Uhm... I thought that beatmania (PS2) was already being slated for a European PAL release?

It vanished from the radar shortly after bmUS hit. There's been no word on it since... I think March was the last mention of any European release.

please, dont let the Uk experience another european beatmania! do you not remember the old ps1 one? the disgusting piano controller...
i just dont want uk iidx to have such a shamefull controller -.-

I'm pretty sure the only "new" controller you'd get would be the US-model KOC, and it's rather nice.

Umm, even if Konami committed themselves to the financially suicidal tactic of another beatmania being released in Europe (Which they won't. Ever.) it would just be a re-hash or the same game as the American one. Why would you inflict that upon Europe?

Just keep importing guys...

(Edit: also, yeah, the UK never did get its release of Beatmania. It was called off and completely removed from Konami's European homepage. Even the news release was deleted)

If possible, write a personal letter to Konami Europe. In many cases, sending a letter of your request is often more effective than a petition; governments for example take letters more seriously.

It's not gonna happen, folks. There was a petition done years back for an EU version of IIDX, and whilst it was before BMUS, it was also before any evidence of porting that was removed from the Konami site, and had a considerably larger number of signatures than this has. If they wanted to release anything, they'd do it of their own accord, if anything an online poll with 5 signatures in as many days is going to help convince them to not release it :P

Well...I signed it...I don't really care that much, but I guess you guys deserve something that doesn't need to be imported too...just hope it turns out better than the US version.

eh, just be like the rest of us and buy a Jap PS2 online and a few games, PAL would be gay anyways
