Hey guys. I guess I put this here because it does have SOMETHING to do with beatmania although this isn't the first time it happened.

Has anyone been having issues with P-A taking an extremly LOOONG time to ship something?... or maybe I missed something somewhere?

I ordered Visual Emotion 6 from them about two weeks ago and have yet to recieve a shipping email yet. I remember this happened when I ordered something else from them too. I used the lowest shipping as I'm in no rush to get it, but SHEESH!!! I think I would've gotten it faster off ebay.

Has anyone else noticed slow shipping when ordering with some of the cheapest shipping options? Thanks.

I am still waiting for a partial order of taiko 6 and 7, 6 said a week but it is taking forever for them to get in stock. I emailed them and asked for the 6 with drum package so it can ship now but they have not emailed back.

i looked up visual emotions 6 on play-asia and it said it takes 5-15 days for it to ship

@Dreamcube017: you know dude, that thing happened to me also. when i ordered a gitadora V OST through them in july 2005, i also choose that shipping method but when it was past 15 days after they said that my order shipped, my order didn't come even today. so i complained them and this is what they said to me:

refund in form of store credit for furture purchases at Play-Asia.com. We
possibly could offer a resend of the lost item, and we will do so if
requested, however, please keep in mind that we can not give any guarantee
that the replacement would arrive, and that such action would be on your
own risk.

We kindly ask you, to reply to this email whether your item arrived in the
meanwhile or not.

As said before, if your item did not arrive, we can offer a store credit
in full value of your lost order, or, if requested (and understood that we
are not liable for the repeated loss of the resend) we can resend the
item.

We can not rule out that your parcel might eventually arrive still, if it
does arrive, please kindly let us know.

So did you ever get it or get credit? What ended up happening?

It's funny because my dad ordered me Happy Sky from there for Christmas and he said it came right away. ... Maybe next time I won't use air bubble or box shipping. I think I'll just caugh up enough $$ for the fast shipping.... If they do give me store credit and if I don't get it by the end of this month then I'll write them and just re-order it with better shipping.

^ like i said before, my gitadora V OST order didn't came even today so i ended up getting the refund and used it on my happy sky CS order last december 2006 (and i use the fedex shipping method this time so that that mistake will not happen again)

Ok. Well I just checked my order and it turns out that they said they'll ship it on the 11th of this month, so I'll be looking for it near the end of October... although I ordered it last month....

Note to self, when ordering from there, use the faster shipping.

i dont trust that negligent cheap shipping option
id try UPS just to see if it arrives
im not sure how well the cheap shippin goption passes through customs
i know every order ive used UPS gets from HK to my house in like 4-5 days

Most of my orders come up fine. In fact, all of them have. The only problem I had was my first order, simply because FFX international took a while longer than the others. I've also shipped using UPS, as well as the Bubble thingy.

And even though they say they'll ship at this time, its no guarantee. Two of my ordersexceeded that, but the one I just made on Sunday said it'd ship the 9th, and it shipped this morning, the 8th.

Lowest shipping doesn't only mean longer waiting times...
It also means lower security..

Your item could have been lost in the mail..

Which is why it's always better to go FedEx, UPS, what have you.. :P

Everytime I've ordered from PA (it's been a lot too) I've always done either Fedex or UPS. No problems, this isn't including the whole poster issue with the Distorted LE, which was just them being dumb. But actual items getting to my door, longest was like 3 or 4 days. So, even though it's a little more, it's most definitely worth it to go with UPS or Fedex

Ok, thanks for your advice. Next time I order, I will do that... I'll wait for my V.E. 6 though. It kinda makes me wanna order something JUST so I can pick the UPS or FedEx one. lol
