possibly buying a beatmania cabinet???

Hey, there are currently three beatmania cabinets for sale in WA, here is what I could pick from and the prices...

beatmania 4th mix - 300 bucks
beatmania 6th mix - asking 600 but might go to 400
beatmania complete mix 2 - 500

The machines are in great condition and are the bigger style machines, not the mini beatmania cabinets. I was thinking about going with the 4th mix machine just because it was cheap, then possibly finding a final upgrade. Is there any place that stocks a The Final upgrade for a regular beatmania cabinet? If so, what is the price for it???

If anyone could help, that would be great.

I was also wondering, which one has more songs??? 4th mix or complete mix 2? I thought complete mix 2 came out after 4th mix.

Go for 4th mix, and get a final upgrade for it, because it's awsome.

If you want a manual for the machine send me a PM... I think I have a spare I'd be willing to sell fairly cheap. If not, I'll scan the thing (which includes a full wiring diagram of the cabinet) and have Sherl0k put it up somewhere.

PS: Go for the 4th and upgrade to Final.

Jeez... only 300 dollars for a full cabinet... Gosh... :/ : ( Too bad shipping would pretty much destroy that low price.

They crop up now and again on yahoo!Auctions Japan... besides that I can't really think where you would be able to get one. It's not as if any arcade owner has anything to upgrade to from final, so its probably going to be a bit hard.

Edit: None up at the moment anyway...

Actually, if you can get ahold of that 6th mix for 400, I would just go for that. Its the best one there anyway. You can always get final later, but at least you would have something playable for the meanwhile.

I believe it does. I haven't played 6th in a few months as there are none around here. Why not just go see the cabinets and check them all out and play test them. At least that way you can get them to shift hardware about if one cabinet is better than the other

6th only has 6th mix songs in it (no core mix stuff, just 6th), I do not recommend getting it unless you have a final to put in it asap. I'd recommend complete 2 that way until you can find a final, you would have a healthy mix of songs to play.

I'm kind of leaning towards the complete mix 2 if I can get it for cheap. I look at the songlist and it has like 70 songs plus HS settings. Seems like it would hold me over until The Final.
