Default Quality Difference between different KOC's?

Hmmm, I just busted out my new KOC I bought a couple of years ago in Japan and compared it to the one I've had since 2001 or so and I noticed that the sticker on the TT has a diff konami logo on each one. That got me to wondering if there's a quality difference between them because i'm going to sell off one since I'm buying a PE. So I was wondering which one to get rid of.

JP KOC
pros: Turntable is perfect when modded, and stilll feels ok when it hasnt been. Buttons feel easier to push down, and sound better.

Cons: sticky keys = death. More expencive and getting harder to find.

I prefer the JP KOC all round, but I seriously messed my keys up trying to get them to no longer stick, so I'm now using the JP body and turntable with US keys.
nono, both are JP KOC. They are just a few years apart.

Play them both, and see which one you like. I have a second gen JP KOC, and it served me very well when I used it. When I played on my friends' first gen JP KOCs, the turntable seemed harder to get traction on and the rubber feet didn't hold it as well. But that could very well be due to just different wear patterns from different users. Just try out both, and whichever one you like better is the better one.

Strange that my 2nd KOC (bought 2004) doesn't have sticky keys when compared to the first KOC I bought (back in 2002). I don't know if I was just lucky or if there is some other possible reason.

These are JP units btw.

If I remember, it takes awhile for sticky keys to develop, but yeah I noticed my newer controller still has sticky keys.
