Konami said at one point that both versions will be on the game, but it's not clear how it will be done. (Separate songlist entries, or random, or you hold Select to get the alternate version, or who knows what.)
I personally think that it would be best to have it be random -- maybe a 10-20% chance of getting Boy's Reason, since that's essentially how Crossroad is done on GOLD right now (trying to time by hundredths of a second is good enough to be random).
