Question: What is the rationale of using RANDOM on DOUBLE PLAY After months of thinking about it, I still couldn't understand the rationale of putting random on.
I mean you must have seen videos of EXIT doing Quasar on double (this time with no autoscratch and HARD MODE on)......but notice that random was on on all of his Quasar runs. From what I can peceive, the left hand runs leave a nasty aftertaste.
So which brings me to the question, why turn random on for double anyway???
Well, if the reason is that you've mastered the original nonrandom chart and got bored of it, I can see the usage of random..............but to make it easier (than the original nonrandom chart)??? I can't see that happening I'm afraid.
In fact, Audity/Oddity said last year that using RANDOM for double provided VIRTUALLY NO BENEFIT and proved to be a liability (instead of the assets that it tends to be for twohand single play). He even said (If I remember right) that it's way more counter-productive than LISU using random to 1-hand Innocent Walls.
Well that's that. So does anyone here have any technical explanations that could prove (or disprove?) the rationale of using random for double play???
