Default Questions about IIDX...

After my exams are done in around two weeks, I'm planning on importing IIDX 12th and a pad. I've never actually played beatmania though; I don't even think there are any cabinets here in the UK, sadly. ;O;'

Firstly, I was wondering if it would be better to find a specific style of hand position when playing, or just going with what seems to work for each song. I played DDR that way, but FFR/SM directed me towards 2 hands 3 fingered, which I became pretty good with. Although 7-key seems completely different, and so I think I'm better asking. =P

Also, is BMUS worth buying for the pad, even if the game isn't so good? Been keeping an eye on some of the listings on eBay, and prices seem reasonably similar for pads with or without the game.

Thanks. =)
