Quick question about USB & IIDX

Much like Drummania's DTX controller setup, could I control IIDX with something like, say, an AKAI USB drum machine?

Nope. Maybe a sim on PC, but not on the PS2. It just doesn't have the drivers for other peripherals so it either won't see it, or if the PS2 does recognize it, it won't know what to do with it. Really though, nothing feels like a IIDX controller, be it KOC or ASC, so why would you want to try anything else.

Thanks for the info. I wanted to try it because it would be a great way to practice performing on a drum machine with a grid-button setup live.
