First time I tried was at the Arcade (one month ago), but I was only playing a couple times, once a week. I just got a KOC 1 week ago, and have thus far:

Cleared all 7's, and 8's, and most 9's, on Happy Sky CS, as well as 2 10's, (Moon Child [h] and V [h].)

Trying right now to clear the rest of those pesky 9's and improve my timing. I have a handful of AA's and the rest all A's, but I have yet to get a single AAA. My closest to a AAA was -12 EX on "In Motion [h]".

I'm still dealing with sticky keys, because my mod-job isn't perfect yet, so once I get that sorted out hopefully I'll get a AAA or 2.

its seems there are a few out there with wierd skill jumps like me. i thought i was a special case comparing to the time it took my friends to get up to the level they are at

I've been playing since BMUS was out, and the quickest jump in skill for me was when I got the JP version a few weeks ago. I went back to BMUS a few days ago and passed alot of Another charts (mostly in the 8s on that games rating system).

I passed iFuturelist Hyper on my first try on my fifth time playing the game. I got a B, which is a major jump in my opinion from my last song being Xepher (Normal).

Actually, when I started, I almost failed Make a Difference as the third stage. I started Beatmania on Burning Heat Normal.

I learn so slow playing IIDX. I have been playing with a controller for one month and I still can't pass half of the 7s with two hands and some 4s with one.

Strangely enough I can hard clear Waxing and Wanding hyper which is a 10.

I don't think these people are TOTALLY bullshitting. I mean, passing a song is just not losing...I mean, Waxing and Wanding Hyper is a 10, yes, but if he can pull it up to 80% on easy with AS on, that still means he CLEARED it, just that his definition is INCREDIBLY more skewed than ours!

I don't mean that to be a douche bag, I'm just saying, it's not very likely at all that you pass what you're claiming you pass. That's all. Picture proof maybe?

i think its pretty much standard that if you clear a song over 80% with no easy mode or autoscratch, its considered cleared.

as far as random/(S)random... i dunno. sometimes that makes songs normally FREAKIN HARD passable. lets take kakumei for example.

I would prove it but I can't be both good and bad. And while I can survive on Hard, I can't pass it on easy. Weird, isn't it?
