That sounds kinda dangerous, but if done right I suppose it could be okay. You'll still have a problem though, cause half of the ones released simply won't work cause of the way the PS2 IC was designed. It's easier just to buy a JKOC as it'll have less problems using it with a computer. Overall, though, I'd say it's just easier to play the CS styles as you won't have any compatibility issues.

Memory cards are region agnostic, so yeah, it'll work.

My memory card went funny when I tried mixing the regions, but only on certain games. Only Resident Evil 4, Guitar Hero 2 and Sega Superstars Tennis.

I now have a memory card entirely for IIDX.

I think you may have just gotten unlucky Beyond. I've been saving my IIDX data to my 'primary' card since 7th, right alongside all my domestic region RPGs.

This is quite True and also untrue. You have to remember that the Super Joybox 3 is a USB Convertor. It takes time (even if it's millisecs or nanosecs) to convert the serial signal to a USB signal. Increasing your ping rate will help this but the USKOC, to my knowledge, can't register 1000mhz/1 ms. I have a USKOC and the Super Joy Box 3 and while i admit that there is virtually zero lag, it's still there. Playing the CS versions of the games is a much better way to deal with it all anyway.

Yup (even since the PS1 in fact)

It's pretty much a basic thing to remember.

Thanks for your help guys Ill try to find that play Asia one even though the USKOC isn't even that bad at all i tend to like it. I did get red as CS style thanks to swap magic. and are probably getting the other CS's soon. My friend tried a converter for his USKOC on his laptop and his timing is good on the laptop but completely went bad on RED. He assumes that he was used to the lag the laptop gave from his thing. That or the timing was just plain easier since it wasn't a direct RIP

Wait, you're going to ditch the USKOC for a JKOC?

I reeeally hope you don't know about the sticky button problem.

Because, while fixable, is better to not have at all regardless of travel distance.

no im not ditching Like above someone who has beatmania HDD i wont say who has the super joy box pro 3. and it does like he said has virtually zero lag on the comp so im keeping the USKOC. The only thing is like once DJ troopers CS comes out I'll probably get that and ditch whatever i have on my comp sadly
