Most of the time, we go by the literal Romanization (Nageki No Ki, Oosanbashi, Rakuen, Kagonotori, Kakumei), and katakana representations of English words are given properly (Regret, System Romance). However, as you'd expect from a historically monolithic isolationist culture that was forcibly demonolithicized not too long ago, you also run into mixtures (We Are Disco Yotsu Uchi Inochi, Lion Suki, Cashless Wa Aijo Kesu Tissue). And every once in a while, you get a...special case. In the case of "Scorpion Fire", the complete title is Piano Kyosokyoku Dai-Ichiban Sasoribi. It's only the last word that means Scorpion Fire, but because this song is extremely popular and talked about a lot, you can understand why we don't feel like cranking out 37 keystrokes every time.
With so much potential for confusion, why hasn't this subject come up before? Well, there's something you need to understand about IIDX...it's really freakin' hard. Because of this, there are very few casual players, let alone genuine newbies; most of us have been playing for years and know the score. Plus there are always lots of active discussions, so it's easy to clear up any confusion.
And before you ask, I do have a Japanese song titles FAQ for Guitar Freaks/Drummania, but mainly because that one has a lot more beginners, plus far more obscure titles no one besides me ever talks about. (Seriously, you know anyone else who gives Suishou ~hitomi no naka no mirai~ the time of day?) If Gold makes it big here, I might do one for IIDX. In the meantime, you need another title, just ask.
(P.S. If you can somehow get a VJ Army account, you can look up Japanese song titles on the score entry screen. The last time I checked, he put a freeze on new referrals, unfortunately.)

Some people also say "Sasoribi" or "Anti-Ares" or "Antares" and most people will know what those are referring to as well.
I don't think that's a bad way to refer to the song, since it's not as though even Japanese people are hung up on "proper" names since when it comes to IIDX they use shorthand for EVERYTHING anyway. (e.g. referring to FIRE FIRE as 炎)

Thanks for the clarification; correction made.

The second one is Rakuen.
