Regu-speed... did I spell that right?

I'm too used to GFDM, where the speed is always constant and BPM only affects note frequency. I heard there's a speed mod like that in IIDX. How do I enable that?

I think it's Regul-speed. Anyway, if you have DistorteD CS you can only use the mod in training mode but it shouldn't be too tough to find there.

If a part gets too slow for you, learn to read the notes or change the speed while you're playing.

No, it only works on Gold AC and up.

Anyway, yeah, I tried it. Unfortunately, there aren't really that many songs on Gold AC where it's of great help. Op.31, obviously. Sakura. Era nostalmix. Rakuen. Fascination Maxx. And...and...a couple others I don't remember offhand. I really wanted to try it on A-Jax 3 Way Mix and Fun, but that's not likely to ever happen.

Note that the feature doesn't take note spacing into consideration, so if you were using a high speed setting, you're still going to need one.

It sets the scroll rate to a constant 150bpm, I believe, so you can just use whatever you typically use for that speed

IIRC, you input it before selecting the type of game (Standard, Expert, Free, etc)

I believe you hold Start and enter it on the keys (numbered in a zigzag pattern from leftmost to rightmost) on mode select.

You can enter it on song select, too, just like WINDOW HOLD. However, once you turn it on, it stays on for the rest of your game.
