Q. What is e-amuse and what's the big deal?
E-amuse is a network that Konami uses for its arcade games. In IIDX, Konami uses e-amuse to record world record high scores, patch problems with the game, and unlock new material. Players can buy e-amuse cards from a machine usually located near a IIDX machine connected to the system, and can use these cards to store personal records.

no because that is located in the U.S.

Only Japan, China, and a few other countries gets e-amuse at the moment, except for Brunzwick Zone Naperville on their DDR machine.

e-amuse is still supposed to be localized, and part of the reason why there are no other locations is probably because of the arcade distributor Betson, which (and correct me if I am worng) konami is trying to leave.

I dont think beatmania machines will be supported either, unless the game is released in the states.

Theres e-amuse in my local arcade as well for all but Im still having problems getting Reminisce 002 and 003 out. Somehow I managed to get 003 out once but just once by luck or what, I have no idea. It came out to be 003 O_o.

I tried the

"If e-amuse is available, you can access them by punching in certain codes on the keypad. I believe 13 is 001, 46 is 002, 79 is 003. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

However, you can still play them if you meet certain conditions. To play 002, play Promise For Life for your first stage, then Reminiscence for your second. To play 003, either select the song when the timer is at exactly 30 seconds, or hold down keys 2 and 7 (the leftmost black key and the rightmost white key) after you have picked the song."

But it doesn't seem to work?

just because there are keypads out does not mean you have e-amuse service. Because you need e-amuse to enter numbers on the keypad, you can not play/unlock songs that way apparently. You will have to play them under conditions.

Erm, my local arcade's machine is connected to the net. So are the popn machines. =D.

Are there suppose to be any difference in that case? <____<. Anyhow I tried, I went to press keypad 7, 9, then waited till the timer was 30 and pressed 7,2(Held on), still gave me Rebirth.

However like I said, there was this one time I was messing around after seeing the youtrube video and it gave me 003, but I have no idea how to replicate it.

REMINISCENCE 001 and 002 are the same song in different languages (the translation of 002 is 001, and vice versa). Alison is responsible for 001; jun is responsible for 002.

REMINISCENCE 003 seems to be a reinterpretation of the song, and is sung by jun.

001 is the default.

002 is obtained by playing PROMISE FOR LIFE before choosing REMINISCENCE, and scoring a B or higher (well. . .like you have any business playing REMINISCENCE if you can't pull off PROMISE FOR LIFE).

003 is the random one. . .however, I tend to get it when I play ALFARSHEAR beforehand. . .(I know this isn't the correct way of getting it, but that's what I've noticed).

Couple days ago I tried the
"Select it when timer hits 30" and hold keys 2 and 7.
And it worked sooo...I guess it's valid?
Dunno, I'll try it a few times again to make sure.

i had the sweetest random on reminiscence the other day but i realized i was playing 003. about midway through the song i just quit out cause i couldn't stand hearing how awful it was compared to 001 D:

It's actually 001 ~rebirth~ that's the shittiest of the three.

Indeed, it goes to show that Allison Wade was really crappy singing that song.

Heck IMHO, they should put in Tahirih Walker instead.
