I'm not sure how old this is, but I wonder if it has to do with his Seiryu alias maybe, or disc 3 from his album. That's the only connection I can see to Genbu.

That maxi single CD is just recently announced (about last week or so), and this has nothing to do with his Beatnation Records debut album, since this is released by dance music label Quake (which releases the EXIT TUNES/EXIT TRANCE series, in which Ryu* was one of the regular artists/remixers there), not by Konami.

It includes the titular "幻舞" (Genbu, and yes, this isn't the one from Cardinal Gate, which is written as 玄武), and two Ryu* tracks that have appeared on earlier EXIT TRANCE CDs (AI, and M3). And IIRC, you could only get this CD on the Exit Tunes booth at the current Comiket along with an EXIT TUNES artbook.

Also, on a side note, I'm wondering if Ryu* had wac in mind in naming his song/single (regarding the "Genbu" pun). I dunno if he intended that pun or not...

I wouldn't put it past DJ YOSHITAKA to insert himself twice on the album. I just hope it's like that MITSURU 'remix' of Blind Justice; it's just an unchanged song with MITSURU's vocals thrown over it. <3
