The ones above look misty/lighter, yet the ones below look all shiny and new.
Does this come with the age/use of the buttons, or have they been redesigned?
I just want to know because I really liked the feel of the Sanwa's in an old Beatmania machine I played on, and they were the misty looking ones.

theres a difference though between Arcade machines and DAOS Sanwas (but its not thaaat different)
between Beatmania and BeatmaniaIIDX arcades...i dont feel any difference
of course maybe beatmania is older but it doesnt change a lot.
conclusion: no...i dont think they are more than one kind of sanwas. They may have changed with time though.

But do you have any DD or GOLD pics? Because 5key and 8th are pretty old. Really old. | |

I just need to know, because I want to buy myself a set of the faded ones, as I really liked the feel of them, and I don't know if Brand new looking Sanwas have a different feel to them. If brand new ones don't feel any different, then I'll go with brand new.

That can make them look more worn just at a glance/by default.

Total Tokens: 2,336.99 Donate Tokens | I believe they changed the color of the black keys. I remember some talk about that around 9th Style. The button isn't any different other than the insert, though. So, in terms of play, doesn't matter.
EDIT: From what I'm reading it looks like the color of the plastic changed. Whatever. The point is, they did at some point in time switch from one style to the other.

Well, that's all I needed to know pretty much, thanks!
Now to quest for a nice new set of Sanwas

Well there used to be himuragames.com which used to sell OBSA-45UK keys but it looks like the site is down.
Any alternative sites/places of purchase?
