That's the way I got it. It's even on my profile. One night, it took me like 4 hours to get "A" down (I used the speed feature on Media Player and using a violin)...only to find that there's already sheet music online for "A" months later...

Aside from that, one's best bet is to find a midi file of the song and convert it to sheet music using Finale or something like that. The conversion is a bit rough though so you still may have to have a good ear to get the rest down. I found a Scorpion Fire and murmur twins midi file and HELL, those are hard to decipher. (adding to the post right under me, know that Virkato Wakhmaninov is a fictional person personified by wac)

EDIT: actually, that Xepher on YouTube is a disappointment. First, it's the DDR cut. Second, he omitted all the complex arpeggios and stuff. Damn, I should really get a camera soon.

Scorpion Fire isn't, Wac wrote it for IIDX. IIRC it's been transcribed, but someone (CRH?) said it would be pretty close to impossible for one person to play certain parts perfectly. It was posted on VJ Army a looong time ago.

Other songs that have sheet music floating around include Frozen Ray, probably because it was in Keyboardmania first and was therefore probably pretty easy to figure out.

Well if your talking about what I'm thinking... your might be talking about that dumb person who had a bad midi rip transposed where some notes read incorrectly required three hands for like 3 C#'s because of bad audio... but nontheless hard as hell to accrautle transcribe...

No it's not.

The only IIDX songs based on classical compositions are, if memory serves:

* Kakumei
* End of the Century
* V
* No. 13
* Alla turca con passione
* Resonate 1794

So those crazy Japanese People made shit up about a dead guy just to put a classical song in their game.
Dammit, it figures I'd believe that. XD

Okay, well, it's still one of my favorite compositions.

Also, yea, you can't play the whole thing, but you can do a solo version of it.

Virkato Wakhmaninov is crazy like that. I personally think wac took it too far with that.

Yes, please! I've a friend who is a piano performance major in university, and she said she'd love to try learning the song if I could find music for it!
