I'd rather have a 12+ than a 13. Just the feeling of passing a Flashing 12 wold probably feel even more of an accomplishment than a 13.

Plus there's only like 10-15 songs out of 40ish 12s that can probably fit that category...it would be better to just have a 12+ than another full blown rating when there's barely any songs to fill it.

Edit:: Wow, so after going through all of them I'm surprised to find out there is close to 40. I think once Gold CS comes around the CS exclusives will probably put it over 40. And I agree that not even half would qualify for the next step up from 12.

I think that they should just add more difficulty levels. it would be kind of cool if they expanded the difficulties to 1-99 like GFDM did, because it's very easy to tell where you should be in GFDM. But that would feel a little extreme. But I think 16 difficulties should be around the corner, but who knows?

Wouldn't 16 be a bit excessive. As far as difficulty's go the insanely hard 12s would be somewhere around 13s or so id imagine. So putting 16 would require most of the songs to go through a massive re leveling.

Isn't it good enough as it is right now? If people really were good enough to be in the level 12 folder, then they should also be well aware of what their own strengths and weaknesses are, along with how each of the level 12 songs look like. Adding more levels might add to the convenience just by a bit, but the way things are right now are fine; players often times go around saying "I cleared Mei another" or "I hard cleared Nageki no Ki," and within the general elite players' mind, each of the level 12 songs are already somewhat organized from easiest to hardest, so there isn't really a complete need to add more levels.

MENDES looks to be ever-so-slightly easier than Nageki. When I get better at four pieces of heaven, I'll try the MS course on Another, and compare my bleeding on that song with Nageki[A] (I average 90% on arcade; I haven't really tested this for home).

Scorpion Fire and Quell? I find both of those harder than Mei to clear. And I do think Mendes belongs with these 4.
