Sota Fujimori Album - Synthesized

My album order of likeness of tracks...

SYNTHESIZED>Milestone>Denjin K since I'm one of big fans of SOTA and Taka. L.E.D.'s tracks are good too though. I'm more of funk and trance style and like what I said before, I'm not a big L.E.D. fan.

I'll post my song scores once I grew up listening to the entire album(yeah, it takes time) but I have two songs now to give a score...

EDIT: SLAKE'S remix reminds me of MARS WAR 3. Because they share that same creepy feeling....
Rise'n Beauty -ELECTRO MIX- (personally, I would call this song Rise'n Ugly instead) 9.5/10

After seeing the remixer list of Disc 2,I thought it's just boring and lack of creativity.But after listening to it,I must say,it's simply no match for Denjin K or Milestone.

The way I see it:

Denjin K Disc 1 > Milestone Disc 2 > Denjin K Disc 2 > Synthesized Disc 2 > Synthesized Disc 1 > Milestone Disc 1

I'm very partial to L.E.D.'s hard sound.

Synthesized as a whole is good, not great.

A really good intro in my opinion, a bit on the long side, I would have liked it more if it was shorter like the intro on Denjin K. - 8.5/10

Kind Lady-2008- Extended Mix-
I would love to play this song on DDR and I was stoked that there was going to be a full version of it. I have to say though that I was a bit disappointed with how it came out. The middle was pretty much all filler and you couldn't even tell it was Kind Lady. It was an okay full version I guess. -6.5/10

I Need You -Nu Platinum Mix-
A very solid remix of the original. The vocals work very well with the song. Not much to say about this song. 8.2/10

Saturday Night Love -Phunk Disco Mix- Man, I love this song, its definetly one of my favorites on disc 1, he kept the song alive through out the whole song, and he did a good job mixing up the vocals samples in the beginning.
8.8/10

together4ever -album mix-
I really like the song together4ever, but this version didn't really do anything special to the song, the ending was different but thats about it. And the chorus only played once It was too short and seemed like the full version on the pop'n music ost.

Look to the Sky -Cyber True Color Extended-
For a 6 minute long song I thought this song was going to be dragging on forever. But I was surprised of how nonredundant this song was. Very good song.

Back Into The Light -Feelings Won't Fade Vocal Mix-
When it came down to Back into the light/Feeling Won't Fade I was always a little confused, because they're pretty much the same song but one has focals. But back on track, I never really cared for this song, I don't hate it, and I don't love it. Its just an okay song. The ending is kind of cool though.

Star Gate Heaven -Album New Mix-
One of the best songs on the first disc. Sota did an amazing job with this song, it had good build up in the beginning that lead to the synths. I thought the part where the vocalist was singing without instruments in the background for a few seconds added an epic feel to the song. Fantastic song.

The Hope Of Tomorrow -Extended Mix-
An okay extension to the original song, not much to say about this song, it was kind of short though.

Cyber Force -Extended Mix-
This song was incredibly meh, nothing that great about the song, for the people that really liked the original, I'm sure you'll like this song.

minimal synthesizer-
well...what can i say about this song. For starters, it was very different from his normal style and I'm not saying that as a bad thing (just look at PARANOiA Respect), but I just don't have a thing for this genre of music. It adds variety to the album, but I don't really like this song.

Electrified -Album Extended-
Every thing you want in a good extended version is found in this song. The song doesn't walk around in circles, it has progression. Very good extension to the original.

i-revolution -Album New Mix-
What bothered me the most about this song is that I could not remember where I heard the intro from. I know I never heard of the name of the song before. I eventually found out the intro was played in the first beatnation summit live preview. It's a decent song though.

ANDROMEDA II -Extended Mix-
I really don't know what to say about this one either. Toward the beginning of the song and the end of the song were good. I liked how the song built itself up before hitting the main part in the second half. And...yeah, it was a pretty good song.

State of the Art - Album Extended-
I love every minute of this song. Very cool song, and that means alot considering I did not like this song when I first heard it on troopers. Sota should honestly work with Cyborg Akemi more. Amazing song.

Fly Above -Album Extended-
Wow...just wow...words can't accurately express how amazing this song is. Major props to the singer. I really wish I knew who sings this song. Sota really outdid himself with this one.

Overall this was a great first disc, it had good variety and didn't really stick to just one genre. It hit songs from DDR, IIDX, Pop'n Music, and even an internet exclusive song (i-revolution). One thing I noticed, and I am not sure if anyone else caught this, was that tracks 14-16 were placed on the CD in the order of the style number they come from, (Andromeda II = 14 style, State of the Art = 15th style, and Fly Above = 16th style). It was probably intentional but I thought that was kind of cool.

Overall Disc 1: 8/10

Anyways, I might review disc 2 later.

Agreed. I like the consistency of genres of the remix disc with the exception to wac.

Ugh...I hope I get my cd shipped in today. I'm DYING to listen to it. There's definitely mixed reviews about it, still can't wait to listen to it though.

Nope. I find his remix to be cliched and almost boring.

Agreed. I thought Fly Above was one of my least favourite songs on the album. The Ryu Remix wasn't terrible, but wasn't fantastic. I liked his remix of The Safari much more.

Score 2 points since I've been looking for the extended "Synthesized" song since forever.

Star Gate Heaven, Pysche Planet, I-Revolution, and Andromeda II are my picks of the litter.

Personally, Slake didn't do a half-bad job this time, considering that he wasn't exactly my fave Bemani artist when he did Mint.
