Hi i notice everytime i play a song on IIDX i randomly look down or somewhere which always disables me from FCing a song. The weird thing is i perform better when i first break my combo as i don't feel the pressure to having to FC.
I just wondered if others go through this and found a way to be able to fully concentrate on the playing song, scoring well while ending with a FC.

The higher your combo gets, the higher the pressure gets about not breaking your combo, it's a natural thing to humans. Once you get used to high combos, you'll eventually push past it. I remember when I used to think "omg I'm on 400 combo!" whereas now I don't even take notice of my combo until it's near about 800.
As for concentration, I'm not really sure on how to improve this. I'm able to think about other things while playing IIDX, it's as if it just goes from my eyes to my fingers...

Zoning out is common. This makes Beginning of Life and Quick Master wholly impossible to FC.

Honestly since itg holds your combo over songs ive gotten used to having anything over 1000. Or you could try possibly doing an expert course on a difficulty that you find easy and try to fc that.

I break combo all the time by looking down at my score or to the left at my judge display
to avoid this resist the urge to look down. if you can't muster the resolve to not look away from the notes for 2 whole minutes speak to a physician.
