So, I placed a request. Also, I requested to have it tacked on to my happy sky preorder, hopefully to supplement shipping.
Orange Lounge is one of my favorite bemani artists, but to justify this price tag, I better be creaming multiple pants.
I will update as himeya tells me new information.

I will update as himeya tells me new information. | They may have just added one or two, and now they're already gone. They got back to me really fast though after I requested it, so expect a response soon. I assume they're ordering them direct from Konami.

On that note, bemani artists who need to release a CD are...
L.E.D. LIGHT
Tatsh (you know it's coming)
Y&Co. (if they haven't already)
EeL (whole album)
ele block
djTAKA
Outphase
Again, if they haven't been released already.
I'd pick Marble up... if I already didn't have the EeL track. And if I didn't have to pick up all the teranoid albums immediately. But please, bold on the L.E.D. and EeL, or atr least give us some more EeL & L.E.D. long versions.

Either way, does other EeL stuff sound anything like that song (which is amazing I might add)?

Marketplace Rating: 0 | So I finally got this today with my HS LE shipment. Listening to it right now, it's almost done.
I never would've predicted this, but I'm *really* not feeling it. All of the IIDX songs are drastically changed for the worse until they're barely recognizable. There's a preponderence of horns throughout (not my cup of tea although I liked them okay in the IIDX renditions). To top it off, a lot of it is just repetitive, annoying, and even boring.
Now, let's go over why my feelings are so surprising:
1. Orange Lounge/EeL are responsible for my favorite tracks on IIDX.
2. Everyone in this thread gave this CD a ringing endorsement.
3. The cover is adorable.
I thought it was a sure thing. How could I not like this? Feels like I'm having a nightmare.

EDIT: I'm wrong.
"Eel" is the pseudonym used when he composes songs for the vocalist known (so far) only as "Eel". "Orange Lounge" is the pseudonym used for his French bossa songs, sung and written by Shizue Tokui.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I have to agree with the others that this is the best Bemani artist album available. I'm also with Cstar on not particularly caring for iFuturelist as well. Heavenly Sun was good but then again it wasn't really different from the short version in DistorteD either. I also agree with Xythar on Munagoto no Umi as being the best track on here. However I liked so many of the tracks so much its hard to rank them at all. I'm sorry you didn't care for it Compass, but *shrug* I guess its hard to judge someones taste in music. This album is so good I just figured almost anyone would like it :x
