When in gameplay, if a quick scratch is applied, it registers twice. This isn't awesome, so I'd like to fix it.
I've tried the following:
1) blowing air around the optical sensor
2) Tightening the screw (this helps with preventing a fast spin, but it still occurs, and makes playing harder)
3) checking the board to see if any of the solder points were connected to other ones.
I've built about 7 of these, they use KOC turntables and identical parts, and no problems on the ones I made before, this one is just being stubborn. The problem has nothing to do with the customization.

Back on topic, this controller is simply a KOC, with buttons modded. the TT is EXACTLY the same, i took a KOC and put it in a box, you can still see the same TT sticker. new TT sensors cannot be purchased, and another KOC might be the only option if I don't get any help.
So basically, pretend that isn't the controller:
If you had a KOC, and your TT was doing this, how would you go about fixing it?

And if you want, I have a USKOC TT that has no keypad that I could toss your way for hellsa cheap.

I'm thinking it might be cable that goes to the ps2. It looks like a couple of pins might not be making good contact. I might try going to gamestop and picking up a crappy PS1 controller and just putting the wires into that connector.
That moment where I'd have to cut the iidx controller cable though will be quite epic.
Thanks for the offer, I might have to take you up on it. I'll post results here soon
