Default ULTRAdoof

This....has been driving me crazy..Does anyone know who ULTRAdoof actually is?

I'm thinking that it HAS to be some sort of compilation..I'm lead to believe LED is a part of it due to the Soliton Beam sample sliced at about :25, but of course this is no absolute confirmation.

Also, I swear I know the part at :45 from some other song...sounds like it could possibly be Yoshitaka? MY lack of ability to identify a song that the part is from makes me think this part may just be a case of deja vu, but there's absolutely no question about the Soliton Beam part.

Off topic: I've also noticed several other samples present some of the songs in this game..I caught at least 2 that were in Jet Set Radio, one of them being the "Back atcha (action?) homie" one used in the beginning of SEXYSEXYCHEVY. I also KNOW I heard the sample that was from the beginning of Funky Chups in djMax in the end section of one of the songs. This just all always seemed really odd to me is all *laughs*

Seconded. Except that we should say that L.E.D. re-used the sample from FUNKTION, not the other way round

Ah, good ol' sample that I first heard in a techno tune from Zentral, titled "Que Idea"... if I recall correctly.

there's a few samples from sexysexychevy that are in DIE HARD TRILOGY. does that mean the person who made the music in DIE HARD TRILOGY made sexysexychevvy?

no.

There's a difference between samples being used between two games that came out within months of each other and were in the same series which has rather consistent roster of artists, and two games that came out close to a decade apart and had nothing to do with each other. Furthermore the only correlation I suggested based on the use of samples was LED to ULTRAdoof, and was just asking a question.

I hadn't stopped to think that RED CS came out almost half a year after Happy Sky AC, but realised this after posting..but it still seems to me that the original sample is in Soliton Beam. The sample in Funktion seems to be an edited version of the Soliton Beam sample, sounding somewhat sliced and added onto. It just doesn't seem to be a common thing, in my mind, for a sample to be simplified and/or shortened into something so clean when being recycled. (That is to say, if LED DID turn the Funktion sample into the Soliton Beam sample he has demonstrated an insane amount of talent, not that he doesn't in just about every song he makes.)

At any rate, I don't like having to defend myself after asking a simple question and would appreciate it if you (Tomokosasaki) would keep your condescending remarks to yourself unless you actually have something worthwhile to say. At the very least you could avoid going out of your way to insult.

His point is valid, though. Just because two artists use the same sample (from some pack) that doesn't automatically make them the same person.

Hey just because it's understandable doesn't mean it can't make me chuckle a bit.
