Also: I've fallen onto my US-KO... oh, sorry, "US-Model Konami Original Controller" (see my point?) before, and it worked after. Hell, it even survived my TERRIBLE wax-modding.

But if you don't want to use KOC, then what shall we use instead o_O?

Yes. Modding your controller is not only unnecessary, it can be fatal if performed improperly. I lost a cousin to a turntable-mod accident. She didn't see it coming, the disc spun so fast after being altered that it actually took off a finger mid-scratch. But it didn't end there, oh no. She looked at her hand and then tried to shove the controller off her lap, but the still-spinning turntable took off a good deal of the hand she put on it in her panic. Unfortunately, in the adrenaline rush, and her fright, we couldn't get close enough to try and cut the bleeding, and she died from blood loss, the controller still plugged into the untouched PS2 in her house, looking like a Spin-Art of death.
Oh, wait, he said no more joking. Um. Mods aren't necessary, but they're really, really nice.

I actually like the increased strength needed to hit the keys, I've gotten many, many new AAA's, AA's and FCs with it than I did with the JP-KOC. :3
That, and I believe it was said that the key's depth of sinking is around the same as the actual Sanwa keys in AC IIDX.

I think I picked the better way of describing little Alejandro's fate. Poor gal.

It does react when you turn to the right when you scratch, but when you scratch back to the left, no response...
You think modding will solve the problem?
