Default Using DM pedal with IIDX controller

Ok so here are the references

My KOC TT broke, now what?

and

Aaron in Japan :: View topic - Maybe you can help me (re: IIDX scratching)

I suck horribly at scratching on this game. It really breaks my concentration on songs like Vannessa <light 7k> when i have those scratches in the triplet runs. Though i was thinking that this solution would be a little better for me.

Just curious if anyone else does this and if so, is it a good method to use vs scratching with hands?

As everyone will say...

It's all a matter of preference. Play how you feel comfortable.
If you suck at scratching, practice more.

There's no other answers...

Oh, and I'm sure 99.9% of people on BMS use the turntable to scratch.

i figured as much. It just pisses me off so bad when I'm doing good then i get a run with a few scratches and i break my concintration, and then get a few misses, get off beat, start streaming goods...etc

I know i'm not the first/only person to have problems with scratching and practicing would help alot in that department. I just get so frustarted, b/c i want to get decent at this game. I can pass fascniation maxx and vanessa on light 7key, a 7 & 8 respectivly, but my scores on both are a B, an it always happens in sections with scratches.

oh well :\

Well... If you ever play IIDX at the arcade you probably won't be given the opportunity to use a pedal to scratch, sooo...

If you never plan on playing AC, do as you wish

There are a lot of thread with the same sort of things as this (except the pedal)

Practice really is the key

I would just laugh to see someone play Wonder Bullfighter or Digitank System [A] with a single foot pedal to scratch.

You'll get 5,000 of my tokens when you do.

I also expect to see a letter grade of at least A.

Is rigging a 'double' foot pedal allowed?

Your foot goes up and down, much like the TT goes back and forth. Isn't that enough? :P

It's allowed as much as using a single pedal is. If you're just playing for your own enjoyment, play however you want.

Pedal-scratch is fun, but if it's all you play few people are going to take you seriously as a player (in terms of scoring/competition). If that doesn't bother you go ahead; if it does learn2scratch.
